Minister Cannon travelled to New Delhi, India from November 16 to 18, 2009 with Prime Minister Harper and Minister Day to strengthen political, commercial and regional ties between the two countries.

Minister Day went to India to promote the importance of our bilateral trade relationship. He also visited the Philippines and Thailand, and attended APEC meetings in Singapore.

Minister of State Kent concluded a visit to Cuba from November 11 to 13, 2009, where he discussed trade and other issues with Cuban officials.
