Minister Van Loan announced that Canada and the United States have reached an agreement in principle that would allow Canadian companies to participate in U.S. infrastructure projects.

Minister Cannon attended the 14th African Union Summit in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from January 29 to 31.

The visit allowed Canada to advance the key objectives of its engagement in order to work with its partners to build strong, effective and accountable democracies.
